LPC receives little or no funding from state or institutional sources, and our overhead costs are high because of our international reach and small size. Donations enable us to subsidize families and counselors who otherwise would not be able to send their children to camp or go themselves. They are crucial to ensure we can live up to our mission of bringing together young people from different backgrounds and allow them to forge friendships across lines that might otherwise divide them.
