Most days in camp are “ordinary” days with a fixed daily schedule which allows for various activities such as singing, drama, crafts, sports, etc. At the end of each day, campers decide as a group which special activities (courses) they would like to see take place the following day. Apart from “ordinary” days, there are many special days for hikes, excursions, open days, and so on. A typical daily schedule may look something like this:
Wake up
Morgensport (morning games)
Breakfast
Putzpause (cleaning period)
Singing
First Course Hour
Merenda (morning break/snack)
Second Course Hour
Free time
Lunch, followed by rest hour
Together time
Merenda (afternoon break/snack) and
planning conference for the next day’s activities
Third Course Hour
Free time
Dinner followed by Abwasch (dishes)
Evening Program
Goodnight Circle and lights-out
